{"id":7739,"date":"2022-09-24T01:55:01","date_gmt":"2022-09-24T01:55:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ukrainians.org.au\/?page_id=7739"},"modified":"2022-09-24T01:55:04","modified_gmt":"2022-09-24T01:55:04","slug":"jobs-tourism","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sashap.net\/ukraine\/jobs-tourism\/","title":{"rendered":"Jobs &#8211; Food &#038; Beverage Attendant, Bar Staff, Room Attendant, Reception Attendant, Kitchen Hand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazing initiative funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.premier.vic.gov.au\/major-jobs-boost-hotels-and-visitor-economy\">Jobs Victoria<\/a>, by the Accommodation Association to encourage New Talent in the Accommodation and Hospitality Industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THE SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ALL NEW TALENT <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No experience is needed just a passion and enthusiasm for the Accommodation and Hospitality Industry. <\/li><li>Must be at least 18 years old and able to work a minimum of 20 Hours per week with early mornings, late nights &amp; weekends Must be able to commit to and complete 5 full-time days of training (9-5 pm) <\/li><li>Must be in one of the following cohorts \u2013 <ul><li>Women over 45 years Young people aged 18 &#8211; 24 years <\/li><li>Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians <\/li><li>Victorians living with disability <\/li><li>People who are long-term unemployed or at risk of being long-term unemployed <\/li><li>People seeking asylum and refugees <\/li><li>Newly arrived migrants from non-English speaking backgrounds <\/li><li>Veterans <\/li><li>People who have recently exited the justice system <\/li><li>People from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds<\/li><li>Public and social housing tenants <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recruit<\/strong> &#8211; Confirm eligibility &#8211; Attend our free &amp; fun interactive Open Day <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Educate<\/strong> &#8211; 5 days of paid training** &#8211; We train in Hotels, to provide on the job practical experiences <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Employ<\/strong> &#8211; Match you with the most appropriate job vacancy. We work with Hotels &amp; Accommodation Services to offer Part-time &amp; Full-time on-going employment <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Support<\/strong> &#8211; Prepare &amp; assist you with interviews &#8211; Engage you in a workplace buddy program. We also work with Mental Health Support Workers, to ensure New Talent are supported throughout the entire journey <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">** Note: The training is paid after the New Talent has successfully completed the training and 38 hours of Paid Work.
