You\u2019ll be joining an inclusive team who are committed to making a difference for the environment and resourcing the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Townsville, QLD 4180 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work type:<\/strong> Full-time <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pay details:<\/strong> Hourly Rate <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pay range ($AUD):<\/strong> $100,000 + weekend call out &amp; overtime <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tasks &amp; responsibilities:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To service maintain and repair plant, equipment and fleet vehicles in a timely manner <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor in an efficient and timely manner <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete work orders and part requisitions <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and maintain equipment critical spare parts and record usage <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete all safety related tasks as directed <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; experience:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Australian recognised diesel\/ heavy vehicle mechanics or related trade certificate <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven mechanical knowledge\/ experience within the automotive repair industry <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forklift ticket, elevated work platform ticket, working at heights ticket (desirable) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HR (Heavy Rigid) drivers licence <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Positive attitude <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What level of English is required:<\/strong> Good English Skills <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:recruitmentanz@veolia.com\">recruitmentanz@veolia.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Heavy Diesel Mechanic Company webpage: https:\/\/jobsanz.veolia.com.au About the company: A career in the recycling and waste management sector is full of exciting challenges &#8211; join us in our goal to create a more sustainable future through the collection, recovery and treatment of waste from regional towns to major cities.
